Brethertons Cheltenham office opening, marking expansion of regional services across Gloucestershire
Brethertons strengthens its regional footprint by opening a new Cheltenham office to serve Gloucestershire clients

Brethertons LLP, a law firm with roots dating back to 1810, has opened a new office in Cheltenham as part of its continued regional expansion strategy, strengthening access to legal services across Gloucestershire.

The new office, based in Montpellier, follows the recent opening of the firm’s Bloxham location and brings Brethertons’ total number of permanent offices to four, spanning Rugby, Bicester, Bloxham and Cheltenham.

The expansion marks the latest milestone in the firm’s long history and reflects continued investment in both its client offering and regional presence across Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire.

The Cheltenham office will provide clients with access to a range of legal services including wills, trusts and estate planning, Court of Protection work, family law, divorce and finance, life-changing injury and property services including residential conveyancing.

Operating on an appointment-only basis, the new office supports the firm’s client-focused approach by providing clients with a professional and discreet environment.

Alongside its regional growth, Brethertons has continued investing in its people, with a number of recent internal promotions to partner level across the business as part of its longer-term growth strategy.

Alison McCormack, CEO of Brethertons, said: “Our new offices allow us to meet clients where they are, in environments that reflect who we are as a firm: approachable, professional and client-focused. It’s an exciting step forward for both our teams and the local communities we’re proud to support.”

Linda Jones, Director of Legal Services, who has been with the firm for more than 37 years, added: “We may be new to Cheltenham, but supporting clients with their legal needs is something Brethertons has done for generations. We’re delighted to bring that experience and personal approach to the Gloucestershire community.”

Ahead of the office launch, the firm also sponsored the Cheltenham Literary Festival, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the local community and wider cultural initiatives within the region.

Founded in 1810, Brethertons has grown from its Warwickshire roots into a nationally recognised law firm and was recently named as one of The Times Best Law Firms for the second consecutive year.
